Herbert Cecil Ryland Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Herbert Cecil Ryland of Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on March 21, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Ryland and Ina Ryland (Morgan); and his son Loren Ryland. He is survived by: his brother Lewis Ryland; his children, Misty Potter and Charles Ryland; his stepdaughter Diane Swearingen (Steve); his grandchildren, Adam Potter (Claire), Tyler Potter, Kyndal Bockelman (Dave), Logan Ryland and Clarissa Vincent (James); and his great grandchildren, Bennett Potter, Merritt and Murphy Bockelman.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Crafton-Cantrell Funeral Home (303 S Jefferson Ave, Aurora, MO 65605). A funeral service was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 12:00 PM and at 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Wednesday, March 26th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the Yocum Pond Cemetery.
The family asks that in lieu of flowers, donations be made payable to St. Jude Children's Hospital, in care of the funeral home.
