It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Evan James Boettler of Aurora, Missouri, who passed away on January 3, 2024, at the age of 16, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his grandparents, James, Cherryl Boettler (Ermeling) and Alan Teague; and his great-grandparents, John, Madge Burch (Bowman), Dee (Ermeling), Nau and Edward "Babe" Ermeling.

He is survived by: his parents, Brad Boettler and Kari Boettler (Teague); his siblings, Sikenan Boettler and Valentino Rossi; his grandmother Melisa Bowman; his aunts and uncles, Julie (Jerry), Tim Boettler (Angie), Corey Boettler (Amanda), Krista Boettler and Kassie Nixon (Boo); and his cousins, Jill Garoutte (Rudy), Gabrielle Boettler, Keaton Smith, Greysen Boettler, EJ McCray, Juliana Boettler, Benjamin Boettler, Gretchen Boettler, Kaylynn Bowman, Addilynn Garoutte, Gracie Nixon and Baylor Garoutte.
