He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Erroll and Delores Evelyn Coney (Weir); his siblings, Joann Coney and Bob Coney (Patty); and his brother-in-law Charlie Nearman.
He is survived by: his wife Virginia Elaine Moon; his children, Daniel Coney (Mary) of Highlands Ranch, Colorado and Catherine Daily (Stan) of Aurora; his grandchildren, Olivia Moylan (Tony) of Cassville, Missouri, Alexa Janik (Steven) of Kalamazoo, Megan, Abigail and Anna Coney of Highland Ranch, Colorado; his great grandchildren, Zoey Moylan and Jackson Craig; and his sisters, Janet McAlpine (Doug) of Reno and Carol Nearman of Reno. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Phoenix Hospice of Joplin, in care of the funeral home.
