With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Charles Ray Carey of Aurora, Missouri, born in Pittsburg, Kansas, who passed away on January 19, 2022 at the age of 80. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Charles Ray Carey to pay them a last tribute.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Franklin and Nellie Marie Carey (Shackleton); his siblings, Clayton Carey, Patricia Zickefoose and Sharon Oxford; and his grandson Kyle Collins.
He is survived by: his wife Marilyn Ann Blatter; his children, Darrell Carey and Crystal Viefhaus; and his siblings, Debbie Mertens of Nevada, Missouri and Dennis Carey. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren, eight great-grandchildren and nieces, nephews and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made payable to the Joy Ministry of Aurora United Methodist Church, in care of the funeral home.
