She was predeceased by: her parents, Hubert Jackson and Hazel Marie Tharp (Jones); her close friend Vernon "Maurice" Myers; and her siblings, Jackie, Larry, Frankie and Mark Tharp.
She is survived by: her children, Linda Jean Vannostrand (Whaley), Karen Colleen Whaley, Timothy Paul Whaley, Shelly Robin Thompson (Myers), Kim Renee Bowerman (Myers), Carol Denise Parnell (Myers) and Jeffery Allen Myers; her siblings, Kenneth Tharp (Kenny), Bennie Tharp, Connie Presley, Cindy Robins and Terry Tharp; and her pet Baby. She is also survived by fifteen grandchildren; seventeen great-grandchildren; one great-great-granddaughter.
