He was predeceased by: his parents, Spencer and Hedwig; his son Mark Pieper; his parents-in-law, Clarence and Adele Welge; his sister-in-law Elaine Brinegar; and his niece Leasa Wilke (Pieper).
He is survived by: his wife Diane Emma Welge; his children, Dana Swope (Todd) of St. Charles, MO and Doug Pieper; his mother-in-law Darla Pieper Nunn of Poplar Bluff, MO; his grandchildren, Marshall, Kendra Swope, Spencer, Grayson, Colton Nunn and Charlesetta Pieper; his brother Dennis Pieper (Judy); and his sister-in-law Imogene Bozich (Steve). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other relatives and many dear friends.
Memorial donations may be made to Christ Lutheran Church or Siteman Cancer Center.
