He was predeceased by: his parents, Helen Long and Guy William Spangler, Jr.; and his brother Glen Clarence Spangler. He is survived by: his wife Nanette Karole Spangler; his children, Bradley James Spangler (Anna-Carolina Spangler) and Morgan Elizabeth Spangler Ballance (Conrad Ballance); his stepgrandchildren, Bristol Faye Norwood, Karoline Alana Norwood, Andreas Joshua Spangler, Joline Grace Spangler, Sarah Joy Spangler, Dakota Rose Ballance, Duncan Pascal Ballance and William Colt Ballance; and his siblings, Gary William Spangler (Julie Aimen-Spangler), Michael Scott Spangler (Debbie Spangler) and Karen Skaggs (Michael Skaggs).
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, January 4th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Living Lord Lutheran Church (500 Cedar Cir Dr, Lake St Louis, MO 63367).
