Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Milton Eugene Whitley of Atlanta, Missouri, who passed away at the age of 95, on February 6, 2025. He was predeceased by: his parents, Murty Alfred Whitley Jr. and Catherine "Kate" Irene Rouse Whitley; his wife Diane M. Roberts; his sons, Kenneth Whitley and Timothy Whitley; and his grandson Jeremy Whitley.
He is survived by: his son Kelly C. Whitley (Karen M.) of Atlanta, MO; his brother Tom Whitley of Monroe City, MO; his daughters-in-law, Melissa Whitley and Lisa Whitley; and his grandchildren, Aaron Whitley (Holly), Heather Miller (Stephan), Daniel Whitley, Nathan Whitley, Jacob Whitely (Rachel), Ethan Whitley (Shayla) and Elijah Whitley (Payton). He is also survived by 11 great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Visitation was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Antioch Baptist Cemetery (59621 Antioch Ln, Hannibal, MO 63401). The military honors was held on Friday, February 14th 2025 at 2:00 PM at the Emmette J. Shields American Legion Post #55.
