He was predeceased by: his parents, Jane Watson and Bill Watson; and his brothers, Johnny Bill and Andy. He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his son Charles Watson (April) of Atlanta; his grandchildren, Aleassa, Calli and Josh; his sisters, Jo Carol Porter (Larry) of Lee's Summit and Becky Sue Hathcock (Jim) of Lee's Summit; and his sisters-in-law, Elsie Bangert of Atlanta and Linda Watson of Atlanta. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Memorials may be made to the "Charley Watson Memorial" for a scholarship for students pursuing careers to work with their hands.
