He is survived by: his children, Kathy Leffert (Jay) of Hartsburg and Mark Johnson of O'Fallon, Missouri; his brothers, B. R. Johnson (Judy) of Ottawa, Albert Johnson (Karen) of Mayview and Robert Johnson of Clinton, Missouri; his grandchildren, Jacob Leffert of Hartsburg, Tyler Johnson of O'Fallon and Madison Johnson of O'Fallon, Missouri; his nieces and nephews, Doug Johnson (Janet) of Eugene, Steve Hansel of Minooka, Illinois, Janean Hansel of Minooka, Cindi Johnson Maust of Kansas City, Jenni Lee (Don) of Smyrna and Tonya Isom (Christopher) of Livingston, Texas; and his sister-in-law Norma Jean Hansel of Minooka, Illinois..
