In loving memory of Wayne West of Ash Grove, Missouri, who departed this world on February 3, 2025 at the age of 75. Wayne leaves behind a legacy remembered by family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William West and Gertrude West; his brothers, Orville Lee and Bob; his parents-in-law, Ward and Dorothy Williams; and his sister-in-law Joyce Daniel.
He is survived by: his wife Carolyn; his daughters, Amber Michalkiewicz (Jesse) of Neenah, WI, Ashley Giddens (Jarad) of Nixa and Abbey Higgins (Chris) of Republic; his grandchildren, Hannah, Cade, Alivia, Elise, Crosby and Camille; his brothers, Charles West (Judy) and Tommy West (Phyllis); and his sister-in-law Faye West. He is also survived by several nephews and nieces.
Visitation was held on Sunday, February 9th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Wilson-Griffin Funeral Home (201 S Daniel Ave, Ash Grove, MO 65604). A funeral service was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, February 10th 2025 at the Clear Creek Cemetery (7782 W Farm Rd 108, Springfield, MO 65802).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made to Ash Grove Athletic Department and may be left with the funeral home.
