He is survived by: his son Robert Nicholson II (Terri); his grandchildren, Breanna Hughes (Phillip), Robert Nicholson III and Donovan Nicholson; his great grandchildren, Jayden and Garrison; and his brothers, Larry Nicholson and Paul Nicholson. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, other family, and many friends.
