He was predeceased by: his parents, Jesse W. Welsh and Margarete Welsh (Hensley); his wife Verma Lea Welsh; his son Myron Doyle Welsh; his great grandchild Jake Johnston; and his sisters, Betty Melton and Ava Mae Welch.
He is survived by: his sons, Mark Welsh (Denise) of Ash Grove and Marty Welsh (Melanie) of Aldrich; his grandchildren, Kyle Welsh, Jacob Welsh, Amy Johnston, Kristin Blair and Jaime Blair; his great grandchildren, Zoë Welsh, Leeden Welsh, Jordan Johnston, Zander Vaughn, Kollin Vaughn, Keatin Vaughn, Abigail Vaughn, Dylan Blair of Lily Blair, J. B and Aubrey Faye; and his brother-in-law Roy Strait (Norma). He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, cousins, and many friends.
