She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Milton E. Norris and Janet Louise Norris (Grady); her husband Wesley Townsend; her close friend Charles Long; her son Bill Townsend of Las Vegas, NV; her brother John M. Norris of Conway, AR; her nieces, Sandy Averill of Independence, MO and Carol Ann Logan of Blue Springs, MO.; her daughter Joyce L. Townsend of Solomons, MD; her stepchildren, W. L. Townsend, Jr. of Sequin, TX, Steve Long of Raytown, MO, Donna Roederer of Roeland Park, KS and Daniel Long of Warsaw, MO; and her granddaughter Tamara Townsend. She was also cherished by numerous other step-grandchildren and great grandchildren.
