She was predeceased by: her mother Zella Naomi McMillen; her husband Kenneth Laverne Marler; her son Stephen Lee Marler; her siblings, Polly Lewis and Jackie McMillen; her husband Richmond L. Knapp; her stepsons, Toby and Timothy Knapp; her stepdaughter-in-law Cheryl Knapp; and her stepgrandson Richmond L. Knapp III.

She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Michael Marler (Christine) and Carolyn Sue Sheppard (Jim); her daughter-in-law Denise Marler (Stephen); her granddaughter Becky Pemberton (Josh); her great grandchildren, Evie, Lola and Penelope; her grandson Joe Marler (Jamie); her great grandchild Ava; her grandchildren, Zachary Bekemeier and Emily McFarland (Andrew); her great grandchildren, Lucy and Violet; her granddaughter Kaitlyn Sheppard; and her stepchildren, Martha Leonard (Bill) and Richmond Knapp. She is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-granddaughters.
