She was predeceased by: her parents, Charles David Plunk and Lillie Vallie Plunk (King); her husband John W. Hamby; her sons, David Hamby and Duane Hamby; her brothers, G. W. Plunk, William "Bill" Plunk and Fred Plunk; and her siblings-in-law, Isabella Plunk, Charles Babb and John Corbin.
She is survived by: her daughters, Dianna Evans (Robert) of Thornton and Debra McMurray of Saint Louis; her daughters-in-law, Laura Hamby of Imperial and Debbie Hamby of Cedar Hill; her siblings, Robert Plunk of Hayti, Shirley Babb of Hayti and Helen Corbin of Lambart; her sisters-in-law, Virginia Plunk of Indiana, Bonnie Plunk of Chattanooga and Joy Plunk of Knoxville; and her grandchildren, Holly, Jennifer, William, Amy, Jason and Mariah. She is also survived by her ten great grandchildren, numerous nieces, nephews, other relatives and many friends.
