He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Burmeister and Ruth Burmeister (Woessner); his siblings, Laverne Burmeister, Lawrence Burmeister and Lorraine Kunde; and his son-in-law Steve Prichard.
He is survived by: his wife Laurie; his children, Carol Prichard of Roanoke, Virginia. and Larry Burmeister (Beth) of Festus, MO.; his grandchildren, Phillip Burmeister (Christina) of Imperial, MO. and Tricia Eyermann (Jeff) of St. Louis, MO.; his great grandchildren, Summer Burmeister of Imperial, MO, Haley Bogay (Anthony) of St. Louis, MO, Autumn Butterfield (Austin) of Imperial, MO, Bradon Bass (Bailey) of Searcy, AR and Payton Bass of St. Louis, MO.; his great great grandchild Cambree Bass (Jeremy Bass); and his niece Karen Orendorff (Kim).
Visitation was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:45 AM at the Schilling Funeral Home (702 1st Ave, Sterling, IL 61081). A funeral service was held on Friday, April 25th 2025 from 11:45 AM to 12:15 PM at the same location.
