She was predeceased by: her parents, Walter Burbach and Lorraine Burbach; her husband Charles Burns; and her brother Brian Burbach. She is survived by: her children, Charleen Burns, Darleen Burns and Erik Burns (Laura); her grandchildren, Kristopher and Chyane Burns; her niece Sarah Burbach; and her nephew Alan Burbach.
