He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Karpel and Margaret Karpel. He is survived by: his wife Joan Karpel; his children, Joe Karpel, Jeff Karpel, Jolene Chitwood and Barb Munoz; and his siblings, John Karpel of Olympia, Lou Ann Kinsella of Joliet, Geraldine Holmes of Naples, FL and Janet Devoe of Shalimar, FL. He is also survived by 12 Grandchildren; 5 Great Grandchildren.
