He was loved and cherished by many people including: his mother Evelyn Pickett; his wife Nancy Heitmann; his daughters, Kimberly Dixon (Bill) and Amber Meyer; his grandchildren, Tyler, Keira Dixon and Gannon Meyer; and his siblings, Chris Bereswill and Martin Bereswill.

Memorial donations in George's Honor may be made to the American Cancer Society.
