Jim Nabe wrote a sympathy message

“What a great man and friend is so many ways. A man who was kind, caring, and of the highest integrity, and who served his country, family, and friends with great honor. There are not enough superlatives to describe his character and personality. To know him was to LOVE him. UNCLE GENE, my friend, I loved and respected you. You taught me many life lessons, mostly how to treat and respect others. You left a lasting impact on my life, and you will be truly missed. Love always, Jim & Teresa Nabe”
