He was predeceased by: his parents, John Vandiver and Mattie Vandiver; his wife Joyce Ann Vandiver; and his son John Patrick Vandiver. He is survived by: his son Mark Allen Vandiver (Kim) of Arnold, MO; and his grandchildren, Austin Michael and Kaycee Rose Vandiver.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to a charity of one's choice.
