She was predeceased by: her parents, George Slocum and Marie Slocum (Neal); and her siblings, George "Bud", Vernon, William "Bill" Slocum and Gwen Brown.
She is survived by: her children, Richard Hill (Norma) of Fayette, Patricia Hilgedick (Glenn) of Fayette, Paulette Tucker (Gary) of Fayette and Laura Steinbeck (Tim) of Fulton; her grandchildren, Lou Ann Orton, Jason Hill, Robbie Hill, Michael Hilgedick, Nicholaus Hilgedick, Nathan Tucker, Zachary Tucker, Heather Tucker and Ilana Archuleta-Holland; her stepgrandsons, Tyler and Trevor Steinbeck; and her brother Merrill Slocum (Dee) of Oregon. She is also survived by 17 great grandchildren.
