She was predeceased by: her parents, William Tezon and Evelyn Dillon Tezon; her husband Darrell Carmichael; her sister Dorothy McDonald; and her nephew C. B. McDonald.

She is survived by: her daughters, Christina McClain (Clinton) and Sheila Gerlt (Donald); her sister Mary Ann Jackson; her nephew Jesse McDonald; her grandchildren, Darrell Estill, Derek Estes, Briar McClain, Victoria Durham and Dakota Carmichael; and her great grandchildren, Bryson McClain, Kayson McClain, Mia Carmichael, Wrenlee Jean Hagar, Vance Estes, Laylah Estes and Kinzy Morrow.
