It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry R. Spees (Argyle, Missouri), born in Macomb, Missouri, who passed away on July 28, 2018, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his son Jonathan Spees. He is survived by: his spouse Nancy Hon; his children, Joshua Spees (Julia Sapir) of Waynesboro and Megan McNeill (Jared) of Urbandale; his grandchildren, Nico Spees of Waynesboro and Willa Spees of Waynesboro; his sisters, Trudy Mahannah (David) of Ludington and Kathy Sorenson (Brian) of Buffalo Valley; and his uncle Donald Hall (Grace) of Keokuk. He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to E-Free's kitchen renovation project or the Keokuk Public Library Foundation.
