She was predeceased by: her parent Emil Thessen. She is survived by: her parent Bertha Thessen (Prenger); her siblings, Anna Marie Otto (Charlie) of Iberia and James Thessen (Elise) of Taos; her son-in-law Jeff Mertens (Janet); her grandchildren, Nicole Johnson (Bobby), Jeremy Neubert, Daren Boeckman, Cole Mertens, Evan Boeckman, Kaitlyn Neubert, Regina Boeckman and Abbie Boeckman; her great grandchildren, Hunter Johnson and Olivia Johnson; and her daughter Susan Mertens.
