She was predeceased by: her parents, Edwin Wildhaber and Genevieve Wildhaber (Renfert); her husband Vic; her siblings, Marceline Branum, Doris Wankum, Kenneth, Ralph and Francis Wildhaber; her siblings-in-law, Laurine, Arlene Wildhaber, Ralph Branum and Greg Wankum; and her nieces and nephews, Richard Branum, Richard Dudenhoeffer, Karen, Janice and Dorothy Dudenhoeffer.
She is survived by: her children, Barbara Jane Schmitz, Jerome Victor Schmitz (Jerry), Mark Gerard Schmitz (Donna) and Audrey Ann Schmitz (Ken Crowder); her grandchildren, Chris, Joe Schmitz, Cassie Bushong and Angela Bax; her sister-in-law Mary Ann Wildhaber; and her niece Susie Moody of Alaska. She is also survived by five great-grandchildren.
Memorials are suggested for Masses in memory of Bernice, donations to St. Aloysius Church or a charity of the donor's choice.
