He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Atkinson and Frances "Allene" Atkinson (Noell); and his wife Carole Atkinson (Groll). He is survived by: his children, Kendall Atkinson (Anissa) of Archie, MO and Andrea Holthaus (Chris); his grandchildren, Dakota, Cheyene Atkinson, Tyler, Madison and Jacob Holthaus; his great grandchild Everlyn Stevens; his sister Doretta Flanary (Thurman); and his pet Rookie.
