She was predeceased by: her parents, Ora Short and Thelma Short; and her siblings, Johnny Wayne Short, Richard Short, Sam Short, Ruth Baker and Lavon Wilkinson.

She is survived by: her spouse Archie; her children, Kenneth of Springfield, MO, Judith Hawley (Gary) of Hastings, Janetta Cole (Bo) of Cape Fair, MO and Archilene of Crane; her grandchildren, Thomas Hardage of Elm Creek, Kendra Dame (John) of Fair Grove, Michael Hardage of Kearney and Leslie Bragg (Quentin) of Willard; her brother Bill Short of Grove; and her sister-in-law Ethelyn Short of Forsyth.
