He was predeceased by: his parents, Toney Lee and Nannie Ollie Lewis; and his siblings, Robert Lewis, Marvin Lewis, Donald Lewis and Irene Lewis.
He is survived by: his wife Mary Lou Lewis; his children, Joni L. Pukala (John) and Tony L. Lewis (Rachael); his grandchildren, Whitney Masters (Mike), Grayson Lewis (Holly Meyer), Courtney Reichert (Tim), Christopher Lewis, Bailey Johansson (Erik) and Stacey Pukala (Blake Goewert); his great grandchildren, Harvey, Edison, Cade and Isabel; and his siblings, Velda Ebert and Walter Lewis (Charlotte).
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 10:30 AM to 11:30 AM at the Baue Funeral Home - Cave Springs (3950 W Clay St, St Charles, MO 63301). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, November 19th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 12:30 PM at the same location.
Memorials may be made in James' memory to the charity of their choice.
