She was predeceased by: her parents, James Hooper and Edith Hooper (Pope); her husband James Leon Burgess; her daughter Sharon Morrison; her brother Sonny Hooper; her grandson Daniel Bibbs; and her sister Priscilla.
She is survived by: her children, Robert Burgess of Arbyrd, MO, Tommy Burgess (Jan), Mark Burgess (Lori), Debbie Reed (Allen) and Zana Burgess of Arbyrd, MO.; and her siblings, Johnny Hooper, Paul Wayne Hooper, Wallace Hooper, Dorice Brown, Tink Bishop, Jane Stanfield, Rose June and Pam Ray. She is also survived by 21 Grandchildren, 38 Great-grandchildren, 3 Great-great Grandchildren, other relatives, and many friends.
