She was predeceased by: her parents, Omar Forest and Esther Louisa Schmitter Seamster; and her sister Faye Turner. She is survived by: her husband Lowell Gordy; her children, Karen Gordy-Panhorst (Jeff), Kevin Gordy (Lea Ann), Kathy Wells (Jim) and Kelly Gordy (Felicia); her grandchildren, Dustin Gordy (Alexis Hotop), Shelby Bride (Jimmy), Jonathan Panhorst (Mara Beedle), Quentin Wells, Michelle Gordy, Mabel Gordy and Nelson Gordy; her great grandchild Katie Bride; and her siblings, Betty Thompson and Robert Seamster. She is also survived by sisters- and brothers-in-law, countless nieces and nephews, and many friends and neighbors.
Memorial contributions are suggested to the Clark County 4-H scholarship in her memory, to Sever Memorial Library in Kahoka or to the Multiple Myeloma Research Foundation.
