He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Lee and Dorothy Getz (Douglas); his son Dennis Getz; his sister Marjorie Praisewater; and his brothers-in-law, Norman Roberts and Donald Roberts.
He is survived by: his wife Dorothy Getz; his children, Randy Getz and Tami Getz; his grandchildren, Alisha Mantonya (Cory) of Danielle Shuey, J. D, Derek Engeman (Victoria), Gary Eaton and Breana Getz; and his great grandchildren, Bryce Eaton, Jaden, Stanton, Easton, Landon, Ellie Engeman, Questen and Kien Mantonya. He is also survived by his family and friends.
