It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mabel Elizabeth Brewer of Appleton City, Missouri, who passed away on July 1, 2024, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her mother Julia DeWeese; her husband Willard Brewer; and her siblings, John, Clyde, Helen, Mary and Jeanette.

She is survived by : her father Cleveland Lawson; her daughter Cynthia Brewer Spangler (Larry Spangler); her grandchildren, Emily, Derek and Benjamin (Karmen); and her siblings, Louetta Lawson Choat (Kenneth) of Colorado Springs and Robert Lawson (Janice) of Ames, Iowa..

Visitation will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 11:30 AM to 1:00 PM at the Hill & Son Funeral Home (213 W 6th St, Appleton City, MO 64724). A funeral service will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 from 1:00 PM to 1:45 PM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, July 12th 2024 at the Appleton City Cemetery (13500 NW 1000 Rd, Appleton City, MO 64724).
