It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Larry Lee Purvis (Appleton City, Missouri), who passed away on April 18, 2023, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Kenneth Purvis and Loene Purvis (Muchmore); and his siblings, Susan and Monty Purvis. He is survived by: his former spouse Jean Lawson; his daughters, Joy Christine and Dawn Michelle (Steven); his wife Vicki Lynne Garland; his grandchildren, Brett Reynolds, Dylan Hays, Shelby Shelkett (Chad), Shayla Legg (Jordan) and Chase Lyles; his great grandchildren, Jasmyne, Hudson, Nevaeh Reynolds, Aubrey, Colby, Casey Dighton and Kylo Legg; and his siblings, Patti Young (Ron), Deborah Angell (Don) and Danny Purvis (Carol). He is also survived by many extended family and good friends.
