With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John P. Hilte (Appleton City, Missouri), who passed away on October 22, 2020 at the age of 77. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marlin and Alice Mildred Hilte (Carter). He is survived by: his wife Linda Kalwei; his children, Johnnie, Phillip Bergschneider (Tracy), Monty Hilte (Mylissa), Lonnie Hilte (Paula) and Connie Cook (Aaron); and his brother Jim Hilte (Tammy). He is also survived by 7 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family and dear friends.
With the upsurge of COVID-19 we request all who attend the Visitation and/or Funeral for John P. wear a mask to the funeral home. Please respect the social distancing rules and think of others' safety as well as your own.
In lieu of flowers, the family suggests MEMORIAL donations can be made to the Montrose VFW Post #8820.
