She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Lawrence and Clara Sarah Hedrick (Buskirk); her husband Charles Vanderslice; her daughters, Rhonda Dotson and Teresa Roland; and her grandchildren, Guy Westley Dotson, Jacob Lee Hendren and Britney Redburn.
She is survived by: her daughters, Sherry Fox (Danny), Brenda Dotson and Charlotte Redburn; and her sisters, Barbara Prock, Alma Ruth Odell, Loretta Moon and Debra Kaut. She is also survived by 12 grandchildren; 10 great-grandchildren; along with many extended family members and great friends.
