He was predeceased by: his parents, Winford Young and Janie Young (Douglas); his sons, Bryan E. Young and Faron Young of Des Arc; his children-in-law, Tina Young and Steve Pratt; and his great grandchild William Samuel Pratt.
He is survived by: his wife Betty Jane Cox; his daughters, Betty "Betsy" Case of Campbell and Gwen Pratt of Annapolis, Missouri.; and his cousin Helen Jackson of Riverside. He is also survived by nine grandchildren, sixteen great grandchildren, and nine great great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Annapolis Lewis Cemetery Association.
