He was predeceased by: his parents, Raymond Dale "R. D." and Virginia "Ginny" Faye Sherrill (Bowles); and his son James "Brandon" Sherrill. He is survived by: his grandchildren, Wyatt Sherrill, Harper Nelson and Christopher Nelson Jr.; and his sisters, Linda Whitener (Dennis) of Annapolis, Barbie Savage of Annapolis and Carol Williams (Tim) of Annapolis. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
