He was predeceased by: his parents, Floyd Smith and Silva Smith (Breckenridge); and his brothers, Elmer and Ernest Smith. He is survived by: his wife Christine Smith; his children, Vickie Drake (Will) of Sulphur Springs, Wayne Smith (Cheryl) of Anderson, Mary Teague (Clint) of Anderson, Tina Foster of Crocker, Robert Smith (Lena Acklin) and Adam Smith (Sasha) of Anderson; and his siblings, Herbert of Anderson, Ralph of Anderson, James of Anderson, David Smith of Anderson, Barbara Schuler of Anderson and Mary Ann Talley of Grove. He is also survived by eighteen grandchildren; thirty-four great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren.
