He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray Curtis and Vera Curtis (McMahan); and his siblings, John, Lester, Bertha, Leroy and Tanna.
He is survived by: his wife Laura Curtis; his children, Waylon Curtis of North Carolina and Betty Curtis of Jay, Oklahoma; his stepchildren, Crystal Beaver of Anderson, Valerie Bates of Anderson, Justin Bates of Jay, Crystal Haggard of Gravette and J. J. Gillming of Webb City, Missouri; and his sisters, Christy Kirby of Maysville, Jackie Wheeler of Sulphur Springs, Bertie Hance of Siloam Springs and Rita Curtis of Siloam Springs. He is also survived by seven grandchildren; sixteen step-grandchildren.
