He was predeceased by: his parents, John Orler and Rose Orler (Salvadore); his daughter Nancy Orler; and his brothers, Bob, Vic and John Orler.

He is survived by: his wife Barbara Orler; and his children, Cathy Orler of Camdenton, Robert Benjamin Orler of Brighton, Greg Orler of Dallas, Barbee Vandergriff of Carthage and John Orler of St. Louis, Missouri. He is also survived by six grandchildren; three great grandchildren.

In lieu of flowers memorials are being directed to a local food bank or the American Heart Association c/o the funeral home.
