He was predeceased by: his parents, Henry Lester and Reba Novella Hottinger (Kendrick); his close friend Mary Lou Liskey; his father-in-law Robert E. Yocum; his aunt Mattie Marie Johnson (Hottinger); and his grandmother Floretta Kendrick.
He is survived by: his son Thomas D. Hottinger; his wife Evelyn; his grandchildren, Caleb Eli McGuffey (Vanessa) of Wyandotte and Mattie Marie McGuffey; his aunt Sue of Tulsa, Oklahoma; his friend Ronnie King of Tulsa, Oklahoma; and his close friends, Doctor Frank Corcoran and Marty of Joplin, Missouri. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces and nephews, friends.
