He was predeceased by: his son Stephen McDougal; and his brothers, Bobby McDougal and Jerry McDougal. He is survived by: his spouse Mary McDougal; his children, Opal Powers (James) of Noel, Louella Perez of Rogers, Arkansas, Birdie McDougal and Harry McDougal, Jr.; and his siblings, John McDougal, Linda Sue McDougal and Pat Lovell. He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, four great grandchildren; along with a host of other family and friends.
