He was predeceased by: his sister Janice Fite. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Kathrine Bufford of Anderson, Missouri; his sister Carol Brown of Gladwin, Michigan; and his children, Ann Bufford of Yale, Julie Bufford of Port Huron, Darla Chapman of Anderson, Col. James Rector of Vicenza and William Rector of Tucson, Arizona. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
