It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Bertha F. Nichols of Anderson, Missouri, who passed away on March 31, 2025, at the age of 99, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
As Bertha departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Bertha may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Bertha leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Bennie Provance and Nora Provance. She is survived by: her sister Jean Hardage (Ronnie); her sons, Randy (Karen Nichols) and Neal (Kathy Nichols); and her friends, Glen and Connie Adams. She is also survived by four grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM at the Ozark Funeral Homes - Southwest City's. A funeral service was held on Saturday, April 5th 2025 at 1:30 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, the family request donations be sent to the Southwest City Cemetery Association, P. O. Box 248, Southwest City, MO 64863 or may be left in care of Ozark Funeral Home.
