He was predeceased by: his parents, Mike Leister and Linda Leister (McGuire); his son Blake Leister; his brother Jeff Leister; and his grandparents, Cotton McGuire, Clifford and Thelma Leister.
He is survived by: his wife Shawna; his daughters, Erika Jimmi (Homer) of Hume, MO and Somer Leister (Luke) of Grandview, MO; his siblings, Jackie Silvia (Gary) of Williamsburg, VA and John Leister (Sandi) of Amsterdam, MO; his sister-in-law Beth Leister of Amsterdam, MO; and his grandchildren, Lane, Kenzee, Kamee, Ava, Sophee and Mia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews, and great-nieces.
