He was predeceased by: his father Robert E. Vestal, Sr.; and his sister Terry Brooks. He is survived by: his mother Frances Vestal, Sr. (Harrison); his wife Sarah Vestal; his children, Amy Marley (Jason), Kyle Vestal (Brittany), Bronson Vestal, Ashley Vickers (Philip), Amber Nelson and Bradley Banks (Darlene Gilbert); and his siblings, Randall Lee Harrison (Dottie) and Rhonda Bragg (Tony). He is also survived by nieces and nephews, extended family and friends.

In lieu of flowers, the family would suggest memorial contributions be made to the American Diabetes Association.
