He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert L. Wilson and Helen C. Wibbenmeyer-Wilson; his stepson Lawrence; and his brothers, William and Joseph Wilson.

He is survived by: his children, Brandon James Wilson and Cindy Marie McGinty; his stepdaughter Sandra Ann Kerr; and his siblings, Donald Wilson, Barbara Sewar (Marvin) and Patricia Kessler (Bill). He is also survived by 12 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, 13 nieces and nephews and numerous other relatives and friends.
