She was predeceased by: her parents, Herman Tollas and Emma Tollas; and her husband Erwin Shafer. She is survived by: her sons, Douglas (Sharon), Wayne (Peggy), Richard (Debora) and Gary (Corien); and her grandchildren, Ronnie, Brian, Grant, Adam, Daniel, Steven, Aaron, Grace Mardis and Sara Kemper. She is also survived by 17 great-grandchildren.
